Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement custom extensions and enhancements in Manhattan WMS/OMS platforms (WMOS/DOM and/or MAWM/MAO).
  • Translate client requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MQ, and Kafka.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and product owners in Agile sprints to deliver high-quality functionality.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and support deployment activities.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in design and code reviews; provide technical leadership when needed.
  • Support documentation efforts related to development and system configuration.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on development experience with Manhattan WMS or OMS (WMOS, DOM, MAWM, or MAO).
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Spring Framework, and Oracle/PL-SQL.
  • Experience with MOCA, SCI, and customization of Manhattan solutions.
  • Proven track record of delivering Manhattan extensions/customizations in production.
  • Experience with external system integrations (REST/SOAP, MQ, Kafka).
  • Familiarity with Manhattan Active products and cloud-based deployment models.
  • Understanding of cloud fundamentals (AWS or GCP).
  • Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred candidate profile

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with integration platforms or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
  • Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Manhattan certification(s) is a plus.
