He has built 2 fintech startups before, as a founding member of CapitalFloat and Incred, both pioneering businesses valued >$500Mn The Leap team has a fine balance of industry experience edtech, fintech, study abroad) and technical skills (engineering, product, design) About the Role:We're revolutionizing Duolingo English Test (DET) preparation in India and have already helped over 1,000 students move closer to their dreams of studying abroad. As we scale, we're looking for passionate and driven DET Demo Trainers to join our team and deliver impactful learning experiences through engaging demo sessions.Key Responsibilities:Conduct engaging online demo classes for prospective DET studentsAssess students' English proficiency and explain DET test format, scoring, and modulesAddress student queries and recommend suitable course optionsProvide insights on strategies to tackle all four DET sections: Literacy, Comprehension, Conversation, and ProductionCollaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth student onboardingMaintain high standards of student engagement and satisfactionTrack and report demo class performance and feedbackIdeal Persona:Minimum 6 months of teaching experience in DET or any English proficiency test (e.g., IELTS, TOEFL)Strong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic understanding of sales and customer handlingComfortable with online teaching tools (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)Energetic, student-focused, and goal-oriented personalityGraduate degree in any discipline; BA/MA in English preferredWork Requirements:4 hours of online demo sessions per day; 6 days a weekShift Options: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM or 6:00 PM – 11:00 PMDeliver top-notch demo sessions to drive student enrollmentsHelp students kickstart their DET preparation journeyLife @ LeapMutual Respect We love people who are 'relentlessly resourceful'.
