Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Plant Manager to lead our production facility in Bangalore. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire plant operations, with a strong focus on automated production lines, process optimization, and on-time delivery. Experience in facade manufacturing and handling automated machinery is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the entire production department, including fabrication, assembly, and finishing lines.
  • Oversee and optimize the use of automated machinery such as CNC cutting machines, automatic punching, routing, and drilling systems, and glass handling robots.
  • Plan and execute production schedules while ensuring alignment with project timelines.
  • Drive process automation and lean manufacturing practices to improve throughput and reduce waste.
  • Maintain and improve machine uptime, preventive maintenance schedules, and reduce breakdown time.
  • Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, quality, machine utilization, and manpower efficiency.
  • Coordinate with the engineering, design, procurement, and project teams for seamless project execution.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, ISO procedures, and safety regulations on the shop floor.
  • Lead training and upskilling initiatives for technicians and operators on automated machinery and new production methods.
  • Evaluate and propose technology upgrades to enhance manufacturing capabilities and output quality.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering or equivalent. MBA/PGDM is an advantage.
  • 10+ years of experience in production/plant management, with minimum 5 years in facade or allied industry.
  • Proven expertise in managing automated fabrication setups, particularly for aluminum, glass, and metal components.
  • In-depth knowledge of façade systems (unitized, stick, curtain wall, ACP cladding).
  • Strong leadership and operational management skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and manufacturing software tools.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to operations management.
