Plant Finance Manager

To lead the Finance, Accounts, and Costing functions at the manufacturing site, ensuring robust financial control, statutory compliance, accurate reporting, cost optimization, and strategic business support in line with corporate and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Financial Management
- Develop and execute short- and long-term budgets including capital for the plant in co-ordination with CFO
- Lead budgeting and forecasting exercises for revenue and capital for the plant in coordination with operations and corporate teams.
- Monitor monthly plant financial performance against budgets and analyze financial deviations.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and site profitability.
B. Accounting & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate accounting as per Indian Accounting Standards and company policies.
- Finalize month-end and year-end closure of accounts of the plant.
- Ensure statutory compliance under GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and other applicable laws.
- Coordinate with internal, statutory, and tax auditors; ensure timely completion of audits.
- Maintain proper documentation and ensure adequate control over financial transactions
C. Costing (Departmental Responsibility)
- Lead the Product Costing, Standard Costing, and Activity-Based Costing (ABC) processes.
- Analyze cost variances, yield losses, and identify areas for cost optimization.
- Validate and monitor Bill of Materials (BoMs), process efficiencies, and actual vs. standard cost.
- Work closely with Production, SCM, and Quality teams for inventory valuation and control.
- Conduct cost audits and prepare costing reports for management review.
- Drive process improvements to enhance costing accuracy and efficiency.
