R&D Chemist

We are looking for a dedicated R&D Chemist to join our dynamic Research & Development team at Indo Amines Limited, a leading name in fine and specialty chemicals manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in laboratory experimentation, process scale-up, and documentation within a chemical manufacturing setup.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, arrange, and monitor laboratory experiments; maintain accurate experiment records.
• Prepare journals, documentation, and maintain proper filing of all R&D data.
• Maintain inventory and records for laboratory chemicals and stationery.
• Support scale-up and technology transfer of new processes to the plant level.
• Manage ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant) records, treatment operations, and water discharge documentation.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department for lab equipment repair and servicing.
• Prepare market samples and coordinate with relevant departments for approvals and dispatch.
• Maintain housekeeping, ensure safe waste chemical disposal, and regular cleaning of R&D areas.
• Manage glassware and equipment inventory — record breakages and maintain stock logs.
• Maintain autoclave operations, pressure test records, and R&D safety item inventory.
• Keep library and ice stock records up-to-date and handle emergency requirements efficiently.
• Ensure proper arrangement and safe storage of chemicals and materials in R&D areas.
