CBSE School Principal (On‑site) — Gunjur, Sarjapura Road

Role & Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic academic leadership: set school vision, translate CBSE curriculum goals into measurable learning outcomes, and drive continuous improvement in student performance.
  • Lead faculty recruitment, development, and appraisal: build teacher capability through mentoring, performance coaching, and systematic professional development programs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with CBSE guidelines, maintain accurate records, and prepare for inspections, audits, and board reporting.
  • Manage day‑to‑day school operations: oversee admissions, student welfare, safety protocols, transport, and campus facilities to ensure a secure learning environment.
  • Cultivate strong parent and community relationships: communicate academic progress, address concerns, and lead parent‑engagement initiatives to strengthen school reputation and retention.
  • Oversee budgetary planning and resource allocation: monitor finances, control costs, and optimise resource use to support teaching‑learning priorities and extracurricular programmes.
Skills & Qualifications

Must‑Have

  • Graduate with B.Ed (mandatory); M.Ed or Master's in Education/Management preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of progressive leadership experience as a Principal in CBSE schools is mandatory. 
  • Demonstrated track record improving academic outcomes, managing inspections, and ensuring CBSE compliance.
  • Strong people management, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills; proficiency in English.

Preferred

  • Exposure to school budgeting, admission strategies, and data‑driven performance systems; experience with digital learning platforms is a plus.
  • Leadership training or certifications (school leadership, educational administration) and familiarity with regional language(s) for parent engagement.
