Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 5-7 years of experience in both functional and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases for functional testing.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation test scripts using industry-standard tools ( Selenium , Playwright, TOSCA etc..) and frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, or similar.
  • Conduct thorough testing, including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to ensure the highest quality of software products.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development, product management, etc.) to review product requirements and specifications.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
  • Continuously improve test processes, automation frameworks, and best practices to enhance testing efficiency.
  • Provide timely and accurate QA status updates to relevant stakeholders.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback from a quality assurance perspective.
  • Ensure all tests are executed and results are accurately reported using quality dashboards and metrics.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in software QA with a focus on both functional and automation testing.
  • Strong understanding of different testing methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, and other relevant software testing techniques.
  • Proficiency in using automation testing tools like Selenium, TestComplete, Appium, or similar.
  • Experience with programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Solid experience in using bug tracking and test management tools like JIRA, TestRail, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with performance and load testing tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, etc.
  • knowledge of SQL and database testing.
  • Understanding of web technologies and APIs.
  • ISTQB or equivalent certification in software testing.
