Quality Assurance Tester

Responsibilities :

• Develop comprehensive test plans, test strategies, and detailed test cases based on functional and technical requirements for Salesforce, nCino, and integrated systems.

• Execute various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, user acceptance testing (UAT) support, and performance testing, specifically for Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, nCino Loan Origination System, and Mambu core banking platform.

• Identify, document, and track defects thoroughly using a defect management tool, working closely with development teams for timely resolution.

• Perform hands-on testing of Salesforce customizations, configurations (e.g., Flows, Process Builders, Validation Rules), Apex code, and Lightning components.

• Test nCino specific functionalities, including loan origination workflows, credit memorandum, covenants, and integration points with other financial systems.

• Validate data integrity and consistency across Salesforce, nCino, and integrated platforms like Mambu, ensuring accurate data flow.

• Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, product owners, and other QA team members to understand requirements, clarify functionalities, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

• Participate in design reviews to provide input on testability and quality considerations early in the development lifecycle.

• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of reusable test assets, including test data and test scripts.

• Assist in defining and implementing QA best practices, processes, and methodologies to improve overall testing efficiency and effectiveness.

• Provide clear and concise reports on testing progress, defect status, and overall quality metrics to stakeholders.

• Stay updated with the latest releases and features of Salesforce, nCino, and relevant financial services technologies.

Required Skills :

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.

• Mandatory hands-on testing experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud).

• Mandatory hands-on testing experience with nCino Loan Origination System.

• Experience testing integrations between Salesforce/nCino and other financial systems, particularly Mambu or other core banking platforms.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and various testing methodologies.

• Proven ability to create detailed test plans, test cases, and test strategies.

• Experience with defect management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, ALM).

• Familiarity with database concepts and ability to write basic SQL queries for data validation.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with technical and non-technical teams.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

Desired Skills and Experience :

• Salesforce Administrator or Developer certifications.

• Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Provar, TestComplete) for Salesforce/nCino.

• Knowledge of financial services domain-specific processes (lending, banking, credit operations).

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
