Role Title: Finance & Accounts Executive – Maldives (One-Year Contract)

Location: Maldives

Interview Location: Mumbai, India

Reporting To: Head – Finance / Regional Finance Controller

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

  • Maintain books of accounts as per company policies and accounting standards
  • Prepare monthly MIS, financial statements, and reports for management review
  • Handle reconciliations (bank, vendor, project, intercompany) accurately and on time
  • Ensure timely month-end and year-end closings

2. Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts
  • Monitor project costs, expenses, and variances against approved budgets
  • Provide insights on financial performance and recommend corrective actions

3. Compliance & Audit

  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors for audit requirements
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, internal controls, and compliance norms
  • Manage documentation for financial approvals and reporting standards

4. Coordination & Support

  • Liaise with the finance team at the India headquarters for reporting and consolidations
  • Support project and operations teams with financial data and decision-making inputs
  • Handle vendor and payment processes efficiently

5. Process Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization in financial reporting
  • Ensure smooth financial workflows between Maldives and India teams

Candidate Profile

Education:

  • M.Com / MBA (Finance) / Inter CA (preferred)

Experience:

  • 6 to 9 years of experience in accounting, finance, or FP&A roles
  • Prior exposure to project-based or real estate/construction industry preferred
  • Experience in handling multi-location or overseas financial operations will be an advantage

Skills:

  • Strong analytical, accounting, and Excel skills
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) desirable
  • Attention to detail, ability to work independently, and sound judgment
  • Good communication and coordination abilities

  • Work Location: Maldives (on-site)
  • Accommodation & Meals: Fully provided by the company
  • Travel: Candidate must be ready to relocate within 1–2 days of final selection

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹1,500, ₹2,000,000.00 per year
