Role & responsibilities

1. Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Provide expert service for Indures ash handling systems:
  • Bottom ash systems
  • ESP ash hoppers
  • Fly ash evacuation & conveying systems
  • Dense phase & lean phase systems
  • Ash slurry pumps, valves, grinders
  • Diagnose operational issues and carry out root-cause analysis.
  • Perform health checks on client units:
  • Wear mapping
  • Pressure & velocity checks
  • Leakage inspection
  • Motor/gearbox checks
  • Instrumentation/PLC checks

2. Technical Support & Client Assistance

  • Advise clients on best maintenance practices.
  • Submit visit reports within 24 hours.
  • Recommend spares with quantities and part numbers.
  • Train client O&M teams if needed.

3. Revenue Contribution

  • Generate enquiries for:
  • Spare pumps and rotors
  • Wear plates, bends, pipe sections
  • Valves and actuators
  • Rotary feeders, crushers
  • Identify RM/Upgradation opportunities.

4. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain site logs, problems observed, actions taken.
  • Maintain database of commonly failing parts.
  • Coordinate with Sales Engineers to close orders.

KPIs

  • No. of visits/month (target: 1215).
  • No. of health-check reports submitted.
  • Value of enquiries generated.
  • Client satisfaction score.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Diploma / B.Tech (Mechanical) with 5+ years in ash handling O&M.
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatic conveying, pumps, valves, rotating equipment.
  • Must be physically fit & willing to travel.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
