Job Description: Gynecologist (IVF Specialist)

Experience Required: Minimum 3–5 years in IVF & Reproductive Medicine

1. Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Gynecologist/IVF Specialist with strong knowledge and hands-on expertise in Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) and infertility management. The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent clinical judgment, patient-focused care, and familiarity with the latest IVF protocols.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct infertility evaluation, diagnosis, and develop personalized treatment plans
• Select and monitor ovarian stimulation protocols (Antagonist, Long protocol, etc.)
• Perform Transvaginal Ultrasound for follicular monitoring
• Perform Ovum Pickup (OPU) and Embryo Transfer (ET) procedures
• Conduct and monitor IUI cycles
• Provide clinical counseling for high-risk and complex infertility cases
• Collaborate with IVF lab team (Embryologists, Andrologists, etc.)
• Interpret stimulation outcomes, embryo grading, and lab reports
• Monitor early pregnancy cases
• Maintain accurate documentation, medical records, and EMR updates
• Provide empathetic communication and high-quality patient care
• Adhere to evidence-based protocols and clinical guidelines
• Participate in audits, case discussions, and quality improvement programs

3. Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of IVF, ICSI, IUI, and ART protocols
• Expertise in follicular scans and infertility workup
• Hands-on experience in OPU and ET procedures
• Excellent communication and counseling skills
• Ability to make quick and accurate clinical decisions
• Capability to handle reproductive emergencies
• Team leadership and coordination with multidisciplinary staff

4. Qualifications

• MBBS + MS/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine / IVF specialization (preferred)
• Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on IVF experience
• Valid medical registration

5. Work Schedule

• Full-time position
• Shift-based and weekend OPD/on-call duties as required
