Job Description Primary job title: Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) About The Opportunity A provider in the private healthcare / multispeciality hospital sector delivering comprehensive women's health services across India. We seek an experienced on-site Gynecologist to lead clinical care in obstetrics, gynecology, and related outpatient and inpatient servicesproviding evidence-based, patient-centered care across routine and high-risk cases. Role & Responsibilities - Deliver full-spectrum obstetric and gynecologic careantenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and outpatient servicesensuring high clinical standards and patient safety. - Perform and supervise deliveries, including normal vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections; manage obstetric emergencies and triage high-risk pregnancies. - Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as transvaginal/transabdominal ultrasound, hysteroscopy, and laparoscopic interventions where indicated. - Develop individualized care plans, counsel patients on family planning, contraception, and reproductive health, and coordinate multidisciplinary referrals. - Maintain accurate medical records, contribute to clinical audits, and follow hospital protocols for infection control, medication safety, and maternal-fetal monitoring. - Participate in on-call rosters, mentor junior clinicians, and engage in continuous medical education to uphold clinical excellence. Skills & Qualifications Must-Have - MBBS with MD/DNB in Obstetrics & Gynecology (or equivalent) and valid Indian medical registration - Demonstrated competence in antenatal care, normal vaginal delivery, and cesarean section - Experience managing high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies - Proficiency in gynecologic procedures, including hysteroscopy and basic laparoscopy - Skilled in obstetric ultrasound interpretation - Current BLS and ACLS certification Preferred - Fellowship or additional training in Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Endoscopy, or related subspecialty - Prior experience in a multispeciality hospital or high-volume maternity unit - Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and clinical audit processes Benefits & Culture Highlights - Competitive compensation and performance-linked incentives aligned with clinical outcomes - Structured clinical protocols, multidisciplinary support, and access to modern OT and diagnostic facilities - Opportunities for professional development, CME, and mentoring within a physician-friendly work environment This role is on-site across India and targets clinicians committed to delivering high-quality maternal and reproductive healthcare.
