Job Title: BMAG Assistant Vice President
Location: Jaipur, India
Role Description
BMAG (Business Management and Analytics Group) partners with various COOs/Operations leads in delivering various value added reporting, analytics and lead/support in various projects and initiatives.
Business Management is responsible for strategy and planning to align business operations with the bank's mission and goals.
Work includes:
- Delivering and improving the functions performed by the Business Management community
- Researching and analysing industry and competitive trends to identify emerging market opportunities and strategic areas of interest
- Identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities and supporting the implementation of discreet sub-units, be they products, desks, infrastructure or control areas of activity or a geographical region
- Developing complex forecasting models, budgets, resource allocation and plans for projects
- Utilising comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business
- Synthesizing and collating business insights for specific divisional stakeholders and supporting the improvement of policies, processes and procedures to deliver consistent and reliable products / services
- Engaging with relevant internal and external stakeholders to deliver the best value for functions / units
- Building relationships with external points of contact (e.g. regulators, auditors, etc.) and industry bodies

Your key responsibilities
- Communicate to leadership/stakeholders on the Project updates, along with the progress, roadblocks, challenges mitigation
- Managing the entire lifecycle of project(s)
- Provide support to COOs in various projects / initiatives / BAU in areas like headcount, vendor spend, ABC, reporting, automations, metrics etc.
- Actively supports the COO strategy, plans and values, contributing to the achievement of a high performance culture
- Suggest changes to senior management using analytics to support your recommendations. Actively participate in implementation of strategies
- Create informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvement
- Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements, forming project team
- Monitor project progress by tracking activity, resolving problems, publishing progress reports, recommending actions
- Supports tough people decisions to ensure people performance is aligned with organization imperatives and needs. Addresses individual performance issues, where necessary, to drive for high performance
- Independently communicate with senior stakeholders in day to day deliverables
Your skills and experience
- CA/MBA/B.Com with 10 + years of experience
- JIRA management
- Project Management
- Ability to share and receive information, knowledge and expertise within the team environment
- Strong Analytical problem solving skills
- Knowledge of DB Group/COO processes and systems
- Strong knowledge of Financial Services industry
- Ability to work independently and with others
- Strong interpersonal problem solving skills
- Passion and proven ability to work with management information, financial figures and mass data**
