Key Responsibilities

  • First-line Support: Serve as the initial point of contact for all IT-related issues and queries, resolving problems via phone, email, chat, or in person.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve a wide range of hardware, software, and network technical issues efficiently.
  • Installation and Configuration: Install, configure, and maintain trading software like ODIN, Omnesys, Mobile trading app, etc. ,Hardware like printers, scanners, and other IT equipment, including new user setups.
  • Email Support and Maintenance: New user creation , Group creation , on email platform like IceWarp,MS360, and troubleshooting regarding mail issues with vendor.
  • Documentation: Accurately document and track all user issues and resolutions using a ticketing system, maintaining a clear record of technical processes and configurations.
  • User Training: Train non-technical staff on the proper use of new software and hardware to prevent future problems and improve overall efficiency.
  • Branch Co-ordination: Assist and educate branch employee for their issues regarding trading applications , voice logger , email support and other technical requirements related to Technology team.
  • Vendor Collaboration: Liaise with external vendors and higher-level support teams to escalate and resolve complex or specialized IT problems when necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Internal team Co ordination and support To co-ordinate internal IT team like Server team, Application team , Network and Security team and provide solution to clients and branches. Co-ordination with internal HR/Admin team for new joinee asset requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: Any Graduate , Technical certification/education will be preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), Microsoft Office Suite, basic networking protocols (LAN, WAN, VPN), and hardware components. NBFC/Banking/Finance environment background will be advantageous.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities to quickly diagnose and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users patiently and clearly.
  • Customer Service: A strong customer focus with patience and empathy when dealing with user issues.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: The ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Industry certifications like , ITIL Foundation, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) can be advantageous.
