Dispatch Executive / Logistics – Job Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Order Management

  2. Receive and verify daily dispatch orders from the sales / ERP system.

  3. Ensure correct products, quantities, and batches are picked as per the order sheet.

  4. Coordinate with production and packing teams for order readiness and scheduling.

  5. Vehicle & Route Planning

  6. Plan and schedule dispatch vehicles based on delivery routes and timelines.

  7. Optimize route planning to minimize transportation cost and time.

  8. Coordinate with transporters / in-house drivers for vehicle availability.

  9. Documentation & Records

  10. Prepare dispatch challans, invoices, and loading slips accurately.

  11. Maintain daily dispatch register (manual or digital).

  12. Ensure proper record of in/out times of vehicles.

  13. Loading Supervision

  14. Supervise loading process to ensure correct products and quantities are loaded.

  15. Verify packaging integrity and crate count before sealing the vehicle.

  16. Ensure dispatch as per FIFO (First In First Out) system.

  17. Coordination

  18. Coordinate with the logistics team, sales coordinators, and storekeepers for smooth dispatch flow.

  19. Inform sales and customers about dispatch timings and vehicle details.

  20. Liaise with QA team for clearance before loading (especially for food items).

  21. Crate & Asset Tracking

  22. Maintain record of crates / trays / pallets issued and returned.

  23. Follow up with customers and logistics team for return of crates.

  24. Compliance & Hygiene

  25. Ensure vehicles and dispatch area maintain food safety and hygiene standards.

  26. Follow company SOPs and dispatch checklists.

  27. Reporting

  28. Submit daily dispatch summary (dispatch quantity, pending orders, returns, etc.) to the Operations / Dispatch Manager.

  29. Highlight any delays, shortages, or rejections immediately.

  30. Team & Shift Handling

  31. Oversee dispatch helpers / loaders during shift.

  32. Manage manpower for timely vehicle turnarou

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15, ₹31,339.93 per month
