Key Roles and Responsibility:

  • Deploy, configure, and manage Azure resources (VMs, storage, networking, etc.)
  • Monitor Azure infrastructure health, performance, and availability
  • Manage Azure subscriptions, resource groups, and cost optimization
  • Configure and maintain Azure virtual networks (VNets), NSGs, and firewalls
  • Implement identity and access controls using Azure Active Directory (AAD)
  • Set up backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions in Azure
  • Automate tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or ARM templates
  • Manage storage accounts, blob containers, and file shares
  • Deploy and maintain Azure Virtual Machines and scale sets
  • Apply security best practices, compliance policies, and Azure Security Center recommendations
  • Configure and monitor Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Alerts
  • Manage hybrid cloud environments and on-prem connectivity (VPN, ExpressRoute)
  • Assist in migrating workloads to Azure (lift-and-shift or replatforming)
  • Maintain patching, updates, and OS-level health for Azure-hosted systems
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC)
  • Document cloud architecture, changes, and operational procedures
  • Support governance using Azure Policy, Blueprints, and RBAC
  • Ensure proper licensing and usage tracking to control cloud spend
  • Stay updated on new Azure features, services, and best practices
