About the Role

Coderlly is seeking a
Quality Assurance Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in manual and automation testing

to join our fast-growing SaaS product teams – CaseFox (Legal Practice Management) and MatterSuite (Business Management Suite). The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on testing expertise, experience with product-based environments, and a passion for delivering high-quality SaaS solutions. A basic understanding of networking will be considered an added advantage. 

Key Responsibilities

●
Review and analyze

business requirements, functional specifications, system designs, and technical documentation to ensure complete test coverage and alignment with acceptance criteria. 

●
Design, develop, and execute

comprehensive test cases, test scripts, and test scenarios for both manual and automated testing, ensuring accurate validation of product functionality. 

● Perform
end-to-end testing activities

, including functional, regression, integration, system, performance, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate software quality across all stages of development. 

●
Develop and maintain automation frameworks

using industry-standard tools to improve test efficiency, scalability, and coverage while reducing manual efforts. 

●
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects

using defect 

management/issue-tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication of risks. 

●
Prepare and maintain QA documentation

, including test strategies, detailed test plans, test case repositories, test summary reports, and defect metrics for clear reporting and audit readiness. 

●
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams

—including developers, product owners, designers, and business analysts—to clarify requirements, refine acceptance criteria, and ensure smooth product releases. 

● Actively
participate in Agile ceremonies

such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, contributing to transparency, alignment, and continuous improvement. 

● Ensure strict compliance with
SDLC/STLC best practices

, organizational quality standards, and industry benchmarks for testing. 

●
Continuously enhance QA processes

by adopting modern tools, frameworks, methodologies, and automation practices to increase testing effectiveness and overall product quality. 

●
Provide early feedback to developers

through unit testing support, code reviews (where applicable), and proactive defect identification. 

● Contribute to
knowledge sharing and mentoring

within the QA team, helping to build a strong testing culture and improve team efficiency. 

Requirements

●
2–3 years of QA experience (manual + automation) in a product-based environment.

● Strong knowledge of test design, test execution, and defect management. ●
Hands-on with automation tools/frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Postman, Cypress).

● Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira. 

● Basic networking knowledge is a plus.  

● Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

●
Ability to work in a fast-paced SaaS product environment with attention to detail.

● Experience with API testing and database validation is a plus.
