Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • 2-6 years of Experience as Production Shift Incharge
  • Education Preference: B.Tech
  • Type of Role: 3rd Party Role

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Overall lead the shift activities
  • Will lead the factory operation in odd hours i.e., after G shift working hours.
  • Production planning and execution in shifts
  • To ensure all resources are in place to execute the production plans i.e., Man, Machine, Material, and other resources.
  • To ensure proper utilization of production lines in his respective shifts
  • To ensure minimum wastages during operation i.e., SFG, FG and Packing material
  • Manpower allocation at lines as per requirement and optimization of same
  • To ensure right quality product being manufactured from the production lines.
  • To ensure right quality bulk manufacturing and right first time
  • To ensure Environment and Safety compliances in the shift
  • To ensure compliance of work standards as per SOP
  • To maintain the GMP across the lines and manufacturing
  • To maintain the line productivity and deliver the right quality product with max possible line efficiency during the shifts.
  • To ensure all quality holds, rework completed in same shift if any.
  • To attend the breakdowns of machine along with operator/fitter/electricians
  • To escalate the concerns to the concerned stake holders if needed
  • To ensure no IR issues in the shifts
  • To ensure factory hygiene maintained, food, Tea appropriately provided to all the associates and workmen as per reckitt standards.
  • Review the Shift Operations on a continuous basis and prepare and maintain various MIS.
  • Quality standards and productivity norms are maintained on the shop floor.
  • Study and review related market complaint and suggest corrective action.
  • Responsible for area wise 5s and Kaizen
  • Ensure operators involvement by providing trainings and various other motivational schemes.
  • To drive the line efficiency, cost, productivity, Quality, EHS initiatives/Projects
  • To review the operators, chemist performance on periodic basis and an action plan as and when needed for individuals.
  • To drive the Factory KPIs to achieve the targeted numbers (OEE, Quality, Cost, HR, Projects)
  • To work closely with GSO to understand the priority lines/SKU and deliver the productivity as per market requirement.
  • Drive and ensure compliance of any new initiatives in his respective shifts
  • To upkeep plant all time ready for any Audit and visit, ensure all the compliances in place
  • Scrap segregation at the point of generation to be ensured.
  • To upkeep all the factory visuals all the time LIVE
  • To notify if any abnormality in the factory to the respective area owner
  • To Execute NPD/EPD trials at lines
  • To execute new projects along with GSO/Project team
