Role Overview
The Techno-Commercial Engineer will act as a bridge between the technical, procurement, and commercial teamsensuring smooth coordination from tendering to execution. The role demands strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills to deliver technically compliant and commercially optimized solar EPC projects.
Key Responsibilities
A. Tendering & Bidding
Study and interpret tender documents, BOQs, and drawings.
Prepare techno-commercial bid proposals and compliance sheets.
Identify cost risks, scope gaps, and value-engineering opportunities.
Support PQ documentation, clarifications, and client queries.
B. Procurement & Vendor Coordination
Invite and evaluate vendor quotations for modules, inverters, and BOS.
Prepare techno-commercial comparison sheets for management approval.
Follow up on POs, dispatch schedules, inspection reports, and logistics.
Ensure vendor materials meet MNRE / IEC / BIS compliance requirements.
C. Project & Commercial Support
Validate purchase and work orders before release.
Support client billing, certification, and documentation for payment milestones.
Coordinate with site engineers for material reconciliation and progress tracking.
Participate in technical audits or inspections as required.
D. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain cost tracking dashboards and MIS reports.
Prepare internal techno-commercial summaries for management review.
Maintain quality, audit, and ISO documentation for project records.
Required Skills / Experience
Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Energy / Industrial Engineering.
3 8 years of experience in Solar EPC / Renewable / Infrastructure sectors.
Strong Excel and AutoCAD proficiency; SAP / ERP knowledge is an advantage.
Excellent negotiation, costing, and analytical capabilities.
Familiarity with MNRE, SECI, NTPC, and state DISCOM tender norms.
Fluent in English, Hindi, and Telugu.
