Location: Roorkee, Uttarakhand

Qualification: Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Key Competencies

· Proficient in Sheet Metal and Plastic Component Design

· Experience in Tool Design an SPM (Special Purpose Machine) Development

· Strong understanding of Manufacturing Processes and Mold Design & Development

Key Responsibilities Design & Development

· Conceptualize and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems

· Prepare detailed 3D models and 2D drawings using CAD software

· Support prototype development and testing activities

Documentation

· Prepare and maintain technical documentation including:

o Inspection Reports

o Design Validation

o Test Reports

· Ensure adherence to internal design standards and quality protocols

Manufacturing & Tooling Support

· Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and optimize for production

· Provide support for tooling, fixture, and mold development

Mold & Tool Design

· Design and validate injection molds and tooling for plastic and sheet metal components

· Coordinate with vendors for mold development, trials, and modifications

Preferred Skills

· Proficiency in CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar

· Knowledge of GD&T, DFM/DFA principles

· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

· Effective communication and collaboration skills
