Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed MEP drawings (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting) using AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design integration.
  • Review and interpret MEP design specifications and BOQs.
  • Generate shop drawings, as-built drawings, and schematic layouts.
  • Maintain drawing logs and revision records.
  • Assist in clash detection and resolution using BIM tools (if applicable).
  • Conduct site visits to verify installations and update drawings accordingly

Required Skills & Tools

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and Navisworks.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Drafting Technology.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP drafting for building projects (residential, commercial, or industrial).
  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, and site teams.

Preferred Attributes

  • Experience in high-rise or large-scale commercial projects.
  • Exposure to BIM workflows and 3D modeling.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
