Role & responsibilities

  • Design and Drafting: Create detailed mechanical drawings, schematics, and 2D/3D models of mechanical equipment , components and assemblies. designs, using measurements, specifications and additional data from engineering team.

  • Review and check drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to standards, including dimensions, materials, and fastening methods.

  • Coordinate directly with managers to understand requirements, verify design details and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor) and strong knowledge of 2D drafting and 3D modeling.

  • Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of basic engineering principles, including mechanical components, materials, and manufacturing processes.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Associate degree in drafting
  • Proficient with AutoCAD. Experience with mechanical manufacturing process
  • Professional certification in mechanical drafting/ vocational trades like Mechanical Draughtsman is often preferred
