Role & responsibilities:

Experience in Automotive Components manufacturing or Engineering domain is mandatory.

Program Planning & Execution

  • Lead end-to-end program management for assigned projects from concept to SOP (Start of Production).
  • Develop project timelines, cost estimates, and resource plans using tools such as MS Project or SAP Project Systems.
  • Coordinate with R&D, design, purchasing, quality, and manufacturing teams to track milestones and resolve bottlenecks.
  • Monitor progress through program reviews, status reports, and risk management dashboards.

Cross-functional Coordination

  • Serve as the main interface between customer (OEM / Tier-1) and internal teams for program deliverables.
  • Ensure design, tooling, validation, and manufacturing readiness per APQP / PPAP requirements.
  • Collaborate with supply chain & procurement teams for vendor development and part readiness.

Risk & Change Management

  • Identify and mitigate risks related to scope, cost, timing, or quality.
  • Manage engineering changes (ECN / ECR) and ensure traceability of design revisions.
  • Drive lessons-learned reviews post-launch to improve future program execution.

Financial & Performance Tracking

  • Track program budgets, cost variance, and profitability.
  • Prepare and present program status reports to leadership and customers.
  • Support in cost reduction / VA-VE initiatives.

Compliance & Documentation

  • Maintain all project documentation in alignment with ISO/IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
  • Support audits and program reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
