Job Summary

The Fire Safety Officer at Technocon Services will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and maintaining all fire safety systems and procedures across the organization. This role ensures full compliance with statutory fire safety standards, conducts safety audits, trains employees, and supports emergency preparedness to maintain a safe working environment for all Technocon employees and project sites.

Key Responsibilities

Fire Safety Compliance

  • Ensure all Technocon facilities and project sites comply with applicable fire safety regulations and organizational policies.
  • Conduct routine audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments to identify fire hazards.
  • Liaise with local authorities for fire safety certifications, renewals, and inspections.

Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance

  • Oversee the installation, inspection, and maintenance of fire extinguishers, fire alarms, hydrants, sprinklers, smoke detectors, and other firefighting systems.
  • Coordinate with approved vendors for servicing and equipment updates.
  • Maintain proper inventory of fire safety equipment.

Emergency Response & Preparedness

  • Develop and implement emergency evacuation plans for Technocon offices and project sites.
  • Conduct periodic mock drills and evacuation training for employees and contract staff.
  • Act as first responder during emergencies and assist in rescue operations.

Training & Awareness

  • Organize fire safety awareness sessions for new joiners and existing employees.
  • Provide regular training on safe practices, fire extinguisher usage, and emergency response protocols.
  • Ensure that all safety training records are updated and maintained.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed records of inspections, incident reports, fire drills, equipment servicing, and compliance status.

Coordination & Support

  • Support the HSE team in audits, compliance checks, and safety initiatives across Technocon sites.
  • Ensure safe storage and handling of flammable materials.
  • Coordinate with project/site teams to maintain consistent fire safety standards.

Statutory Compliance

· Should be responsible for all statutory compliances for fire and safety . Making applications before authority as per requirements

Qualifications

  • B.Tech Or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with Diploma in Fire and Safety Management
  • 5+years of experience in fire safety roles, preferably in infrastructure, engineering, or technical service environments.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of fire safety systems, local compliance requirements, and emergency procedures.
  • Excellent communication and training skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple locations and project sites.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and incident investigation abilities.
  • Quick decision-making and ability to remain calm under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20, ₹30,000.00 per month
