Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive Data Science Intern to support our data science team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of machine learning and Deep learning and be eager to work on challenging problems. You will have the opportunity to work with large datasets and contribute to the development of predictive models.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related technical field.
  • Solid grasp of fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data science libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
  • Familiarity with one or more deep learning libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a curious mindset.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning and deep learning models, from data collection and preprocessing to training and evaluation.
  • Collaborate on data exploration and feature engineering to improve model performance.
  • Support projects that utilize deep learning techniques for tasks such as computer vision or natural language processing (NLP).
  • Write clean and efficient code in Python for data analysis and modeling.
  • Research and implement new algorithms and data science methodologies.
  • Efficient in documenting processes, code, and findings.
