Piping E3D Designer

  • Develop 3D piping models in AVEVA E3D/PDMS, Intergraph Smart 3D (S3D) per specifications and catalogue libraries.
  • Generate plot plans, equipment layouts, piping GAs, support details, isometrics with BOMs, and spool drawings.
  • Run clash detection and model reviews (Navisworks/Federated model) and resolve comments with disciplines (process, mechanical, civil/structural, electrical/instrumentation).
  • Model tie ins and as builts from laser scan/cloud data where available; maintain tag consistency with P&ID.
  • Prepare construction work packs and mark ups for field routing and site surveys.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 7-15 years in piping design/modelling for refineries, petrochemicals, LNG, or gas processing.
  • Hands on with E3D/PDMS/S3D/Plant 3D; knowledge of pipe supports and stress inputs (with CAESAR II interface awareness).
  • Understanding of piping materials, ASME B31.3/B31.8, NPS/ratings, specialty items, and valve operators.
