Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and technically skilled HVAC Service Engineer with a background in Electronics or Instrumentation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HVAC systems and components including Valves, Actuators, BTU meters, VAV Boxes, VFDs, Sensors, and Building Management Systems (BMS). This role involves field-based activities including system installation, commissioning, maintenance, and AMC, as well as the preparation of technical reports and project documentation. The candidate must be open to travel across regions as part of client servicing and site supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant site experience in HVAC systems.

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment and control systems.

  • Proficiency in creating technical documentation like project schedules, progress reports, and site activity logs.

Note: Candidates from Design/Mechanical Engineering backgrounds are not preferred for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance, Installation & Commissioning:

  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC systems and associated electronics.

  • Oversee installation and commissioning of systems like VAV boxes, actuators, BTU meters, and VFDs.

  • Handle AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract) operations across multiple sites.

Project Documentation & Reporting:

  • Prepare detailed site reports including progress updates and commissioning records.

  • Maintain documentation related to project schedules and completion milestones.

System Knowledge & Technical Support:

  • Troubleshoot control systems and sensor integration issues.

  • Understand and work with Building Management Systems (BMS).

  • Provide onsite technical support and ensure compliance with project specifications.

Client Interaction & Mobility:

Visit client sites for system audits, installation, and servicing.

Travel across regions for site execution, client coordination, and commissioning support.

Work Conditions:

  • Primarily field-based role with frequent travel for site visits, client meetings, and service activities.

  • Candidate should be open to working in varied locations as per project requirements.

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to HVAC control systems and BMS platforms such as Honeywell, Schneider, or Siemens.

  • Experience working with sensors, actuators, and electronic controllers used in HVAC systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address onsite issues promptly.
