Job Description Red Hat's Global Engineering Team are looking for a Senior Agile Consultant to join our PyTorch Engineering Team in AI Platform Core Components org. In this role, you will lead the design and execution of agile practices across distributed teams working on optimizing, integrating, and supporting PyTorch. You will play a critical part in aligning team operations with strategic goals, enabling effective cross-functional collaboration, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement You will be shaping the delivery engine of a high-impact team contributing to the future of AI on open source infrastructure. You'll work alongside top engineers and leaders at the intersection of PyTorch, and container-native AI platforms like Podman and Opeshift AI Successful applicants must reside in a state where Red Hat is registered to do business What you will do :
  • Drive Agile adoption and maturity across globally distributed PyTorch engineering teams
  • Serve as Agile coach for Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Engineering Managers
  • Facilitate team formation, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and scaled agile ceremonies
  • Partner with leadership to define OKRs, roadmap alignment, and release planning
  • Enable effective backlog management and help structure engineering pillars for performance, packaging, deployment, observability, and upstream integration
  • Monitor team metrics (velocity, throughput, cycle time) and identify improvement opportunities
  • Build agility into upstream community collaboration cycles and Red Hat's open source delivery model
  • Collaborate across time zones to ensure minimal handoff dependency between US and Bangalore teams
What you will bring:
  • years of experience in Agile coaching or consulting in software product organizations, ideally with global teams
  • Strong understanding of agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps culture
  • Experience supporting high-performance engineering teams in open source or infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with AI/ML product development, data science workflows, or PyTorch is a plus
  • Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with experience working across cultural and geographic boundaries
  • Proven track record of driving Agile transformations or setting up Agile from the ground up
