Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Infrastructure Engineer with deep expertise in Amazon EKS, CloudFront, Route 53, CodePipeline, and MSK to join our team on a full -time, permanent basis. You will play a critical role in designing, automating, and managing our AWS cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on writing efficient, maintainable Terraform scripts to deliver secure, scalable, and cost -optimised environments. This role will suit someone who is passionate about cloud technologies and thrives on applying Infrastructure -as -Code best practices in complex, high -availability environments. Requirements Key Responsibilities • Infrastructure -as -Code (IaC) o Develop, maintain, and optimise Terraform scripts for provisioning and managing AWS infrastructure. o Ensure code is modular, reusable, and version -controlled. • AWS Services Ownership o Build, configure, and maintain EKS clusters, including networking, scaling, and security hardening. o Manage CloudFront distributions for performance and secure content delivery. o Configure Route 53 hosted zones and DNS routing policies. o Implement CodePipeline CI/CD workflows for automated deployments. o Operate and optimise Amazon MSK clusters for high -throughput, low -latency streaming. • Cloud Architecture & Governance o Apply AWS Well -Architected Framework principles to all designs. o Implement security controls, IAM policies, and compliance measures. o Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise infrastructure for performance and cost. • Collaboration & Documentation o Work closely with DevOps, software engineering, and security teams to integrate infrastructure with application workflows. o Document infrastructure designs, operational procedures, and Terraform modules. ________________________________________ Required Skills & Experience • AWS Expertise: Proven hands -on experience with EKS, CloudFront, Route 53, CodePipeline, and MSK in live production environments. • Terraform Mastery: Strong track record of writing clean, modular, reusable Terraform code. • Cloud Architecture: Solid understanding of AWS networking, security, scaling, and HA patterns. • CI/CD Integration: Experience implementing automated deployments with AWS CodePipeline or similar tools. • Security & Compliance: Knowledge of AWS IAM, encryption, and governance best practices. • Collaboration Skills: Comfortable working in cross -functional teams and agile delivery environments. ________________________________________ Preferred Skills • Experience deploying applications with Helm charts and Kubernetes on EKS. • Familiarity with AWS monitoring & logging tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK). • Cost -optimisation strategies for AWS workloads. • Multi -account AWS organisation management experience.
