Fraud Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in protecting the organization and its customers from financial fraud. You will monitor, analyze, and investigate suspicious activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement effective fraud prevention strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze transaction data to identify unusual patterns and potential fraudulent activities.
- Investigate fraud alerts using internal systems, external databases, and communication with stakeholders.
- Assess risks associated with various transactions, accounts, and user behaviors.
- Collaborate with the customer support team to resolve escalations related to fraud claims.
- Document all investigations and findings, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Develop and enhance fraud detection rules and strategies using analytical tools and methodologies.
- Stay updated on emerging fraud trends, techniques, and tools within the industry.
- Prepare reports and provide insights on fraud activity to senior management.
- Recommend improvements to existing processes to reduce fraud risks and enhance customer trust.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in fraud analysis, risk management, or a related field (13 years preferred).
- Familiarity with fraud detection tools such as SAS, Actimize, or similar systems.
