As a Guest Services Staff member at Viking, you will be part of a renowned small ship travel company founded in 1997. Chairman Torstein Hagen describes Viking as The Thinking Persons Cruise, providing a unique experience compared to mainstream cruises. - Serve as the primary source of information for guests - Provide concierge services - Handle onboard sales transactions - Operate phone systems and safety measures - Ensure the smooth operation of guest services - Assist with embarkation, disembarkation, check-in/out procedures - Maintain logs and handle guest complaints - Coordinate travel arrangements and assist with shore excursions - Deliver exceptional customer service To be considered for this role, you should have: - At least 2 years of experience in the Front Office department or a similar 5-star hospitality environment - Shipboard experience is advantageous - A high school diploma is required, and a degree with a hospitality focus is preferred - Physically fit with a guest-focused and service-oriented attitude - Maintain a positive demeanor, present a professional appearance, and adhere to impeccable hygiene standards You must: - Be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (green card) to work onboard the ship - Pass a pre-employment drug test - Adhere to Viking Cruises" At-Will Employment policy, which means that your employment with Viking is voluntary and may be terminated with or without cause or notice at any time.,
