Senior Engineer Electrical Quality Assurance EQA

Role & responsibilities
- Supervise electrical quality assurance activities across RDSS project sites in designated districts.
- Conduct inspection and quality checks of:
- 11kV line erection
- Pole erection (PCC/RS poles)
- Conductor stringing
- DTC (Distribution Transformer Centre) installation
- LT/HT line works
- Ensure strict compliance with MSEDCL specifications, IS/IEC standards, and project technical guidelines.
- Monitor quality of materials used at site including poles, insulators, conductors, cables, stay sets, earthing kits, etc.
- Verify erection techniques, sagging methods, pole alignment, earthing, and clearances as per norms.
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, site quality checklists, test records, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
- Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, and field teams to rectify quality issues.
- Support audits conducted by MSEDCL, REC, or third-party inspection agencies.
- Provide technical support to ensure safe and quality implementation of works as per RDSS scope and timeline.
- Frequently travel to project sites across assigned districts to ensure 100% on-ground quality coverage.
Preferred candidate profile
B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or institution.
