Principal Member of Technical Staff- Software Development

We are looking for a Principal Member of Technical Staff to join our Payer Integration team within Platform and Data Services, Integration Platform zone, Chennai location. Our zone vision is to maximize our network effect through efficient, effective experience-driven interoperability and navigate to value-based care.

Our teams vision is to improve payer/partner and provider collaboration in the healthcare ecosystem, delivering better patient and provider experience. We are building a robust and scalable integration platform to enable bidirectional workflow between Payer/Partner and Provider groups to surface Payer/Partners insights on a patient's health condition at the moments of care delivery.

Help us reach our goal of becoming the healthcare backbone by enhancing our cloud-based EHR solution and leveraging the network effect of 100k providers. Apply your technical skills towards allowing doctors to be doctors so that they can spend more time doing what they do best: provide patient care. But enough about us, lets talk about you. Your job will be to build products and services for Payer integration and platform solutions. You are a technologist with zeal to solve complex problems, have a growth mindset, are a fast learner, and are willing to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Deliver customer value in the form of high-quality software components and services in adherence to R&D policies on security, performance, longevity, and integration testing.
• Propose technical design and implementation that solve scaling and performance problems.
• Look for innovation opportunities across several teams with a willingness to experiment and to boldly confront problems of large complexity and scope.
• Proactively identify opportunities to reuse services and product features. Avoid duplication of effort by collaborating and making proposals across various engineering teams.
• Provide technical mentorship within the team and across zones.
• Interact with customers and internal stakeholders as a consultant and spokesperson for the payer solution team.

• 12 years of experience in an engineering role.
• Bachelors Degree or equivalent. Significant software engineering skills and computer science experience.
• Hands-on experience in programming languages such as Java, Perl, Python, JavaScript/Query is required.
• Extensive experience with object-oriented programming, relational database technologies, distributed computing tech, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience architecting/developing solutions on AWS.
• Experience in an Agile environment. Been part of SDLC, deployment & support of software projects.
• Knowledge of version control management tools like Perforce & Git.
• Demonstrated experience leading or developing high-quality, enterprise-scale software products using a structured system development lifecycle.
• Knowledge of or experience with big data analytics techniques: data warehousing (Snowflake), data mining (Looker) is a plus.
• Knowledge of healthcare is a plus.
