Role & responsibilities

Landmark Group is seeking an experienced Senior Manager - Finance & Accounts with 7-10 years of experience and a CA background. The ideal candidate will be responsible for financial management, taxation, and compliance functions, including managing audits and presenting MIS reports to the promoters. The candidate should have strong knowledge of RERA, construction-related GST, direct and indirect taxation, and accounting standards like IGAAP and IND AS.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting and Compliance:

Prepare and finalize standalone financial statements as per IGAAP and IND AS under the guidance of auditors.

Ensure first-time adoption of accounting standards and compliance with Schedule III for group companies.

Review yearly cost allocation for group companies and provisions for expenses.

Maintain and review the fixed asset register annually for all group companies.

Handle related party transactions on a yearly basis and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

2. Taxation and Audit Management:

Prepare estimated profit/loss for advance tax and various workings related to direct and indirect tax scrutiny assessments.

Oversee GST registration, file GST returns, and compute tax liabilities as per GST laws.

Manage and handle direct and indirect tax assessments and resolve any scrutiny-related issues.

Ensure successful completion of statutory and internal audits, liaising with auditors and ensuring timely resolution of audit points.

Assist in anti-profiteering scrutiny matters and provide guidance on new tax provisions and their implementation within the organization.

3. Business Processes and Stakeholder Management:

Present comprehensive MIS reports directly to the promoters, ensuring accuracy in financial data and clear communication of the companys financial performance.

Liaise with directors, auditors, and various stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.

Assist in IPO documentation related to accounts and support compliance with regulatory requirements.

Implement and oversee business process controls to improve financial efficiency and accuracy.

Resolve cross-departmental queries, including those from CRM, customer accounting, and vendor accounting teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification preferred.

7-10 years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation, particularly in the real estate or construction industry.

Strong knowledge of RERA, construction-related GST, and direct/indirect taxation.

Experience in financial reporting and MIS presentation to senior leadership.

Proficiency in managing internal and statutory audits.

Strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
