Qualification: B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 15–20 Years

Job Description:

The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of textile processing machinery and utility systems, including:

Thermopack, Steam Boiler, Stenter, Chiller, Cooling Tower, Compressor, DG Set, Hoist, Hydraulic Systems, and related equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage preventive and breakdown maintenance activities across shifts.
  • Handle maintenance of Thermo Pack, Steam Boiler, Coal Crusher, Continuous Process Machines, Screw Compressors, Chillers, MHEs, and Cooling Towers.
  • Manage textile processing machinery such as Ovens, Coating and Printing Lines, Embossing Machines, and Knitting Machines.
  • Oversee spare parts management and maintenance budgeting.
  • Lead plant and machinery erection projects and ensure smooth commissioning.
  • Implement breakdown reduction strategies through PM, BD, and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Maintain inventory of spares and minimize production delays due to breakdowns.
  • Drive initiatives for repair cost reduction and machine availability improvement.
  • Increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and reduce Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
  • Ensure minimum machine downtime and enhance machine reliability and uptime.
  • Ensure cost-effective repair and maintenance of all machinery as per given specifications and timelines.
  • Maintain spare part inventory as per defined targets.
