Job Description

LAB ADMIN

A DOCSIS Lab Admin JD involves managing DOCSIS (Data-Over-Cable Service Interface Specification) lab equipment, such as CMTS (Cable Modem Termination Systems) and modems, along with supporting test infrastructure and monitoring network performance for cable broadband environments.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical Expertise:

• Strong understanding of DOCSIS standards, protocols, and cable network architecture.

• Experience with network hardware (switches, routers) and software components.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, Bash).

• System Administration:

• Experience managing and troubleshooting servers and operating systems.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms and container orchestration systems.

• Problem-Solving:

• Ability to analyze and resolve complex network and hardware issues independently
