Role title: Solution Architect Function: Operational Support System (OSS)   Band: M2 Location: Pune/ Hyderabad Key accountabilities and decision ownership:
  • Working experience of VMWARE Virtualization Environment, LUNS, Data Store, Consolidations 
  • Good command over Linux networking tools like Ip, ifconfig, etc.
  • Working knowledge of one (or more) CM tools like Ansible, Chef, and Puppet etc.
  • Good knowledge of build and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo etc.
  • Solid understanding and expertise of Linux operating system, including the automated installation, jumpstart, kick-start configuration, etc.
  • Experience managing software defined storage systems like CEPH, SAN, and NAS
  • Strong system security awareness and knowledge in REHL/Windows OS hardening.
  • Knowledge of OpenStack & Kubernetes.
  • Working Knowledge of HPE/DELL Bare-metal Server/Storage Hardware, Storage Configuration & Specifications.
  • Working Knowledge of HPE/DELL MSL TAPE library backup Configuration & Specifications & restoration.
  • Hands on experience on cloud platforms, on-premises infrastructure, and hybrid solutions
  Core competencies, knowledge and experience:
  • Minimum 6-7 years of experience in Operational Support System 
  • Strong experience of configuring and managing on Linux platforms.
  • Must have good working knowledge of at least one programming language, preferably Shell Scripting, corn jobs, Scheduling, Access Control list etc.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive solution designs.
  • Develop end-to-end architecture solutions encompassing applications, data, infrastructure, and integration components

Must have technical / professional qualifications:
  • BE/B. Tech
  • CCNA/CCNP

Key performance indicators:
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Windows Operating System platforms (MS Windows 200x)
  • Experience in Server Virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V KVM, RHV)
  • Working Knowledge of Domain, ACL & Windows Administration.
  • Analytical problem-solving and root cause analysis skills
