Job Title: BMS Operator (Building Management System)

Location: Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Kharagpur

Role Summary:

We are looking for a male candidate (local to Kharagpur/adjacent region) to operate and maintain the Building Management System (BMS), ensuring smooth functioning of HVAC/AHU, fire alarm, CCTV, and other integrated systems in the medical institute.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and operate BMS for HVAC/AHU, fire alarm, CCTV, and access systems.
  • Respond to alarms, troubleshoot faults, and ensure preventive maintenance.
  • Maintain system logs, reports, and coordinate with vendors for repairs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and support facility operations.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Civil / Electrical / Electronics Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of HVAC (especially AHU), fire alarm, and CCTV systems.
  • Hands-on experience in BMS operation and troubleshooting preferred.
  • Basic understanding of control systems and IT/network integration.

Other Requirements:

  • Male candidate, local to Kharagpur or nearby areas.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and handle emergencies.
