This role encompasses the design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems tailored for industrial applications and renewable energy systems like Solar PV. With the rising demand for clean energy and uninterrupted power in industries, this position significantly contributes to minimizing operational disruptions and supporting our commitment to environmental responsibility. The engineer will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to create innovative and cost-effective solutions, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, regulations, and best practices while conveying technical information to stakeholders and clients. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise, project management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, positioning them as an integral part of our engineering team. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop industrial UPS systems ensuring reliability and efficiency.
  • Conduct feasibility studies for Solar PV installations to optimize energy production.
  • Oversee the integration of UPS systems with existing power infrastructures.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and project managers during project planning.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation including specifications and reports.
  • Perform site assessments to determine optimal system setups for clients.
  • Conduct system performance testing and troubleshooting for both UPS and Solar PV systems.
  • Ensure compliance with local, national, and international electrical standards and regulations.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers for sourcing components.
  • Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams.
  • Develop and oversee project schedules and budgets for engineering projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in UPS and Solar technologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes.
  • Assist in proposal development and risk assessment for new projects.
  • Facilitate communication between clients and internal teams for effective project execution.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
  • Master's degree preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in UPS and Solar PV systems engineering.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and components.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations concerning energy systems.
  • Proven experience in project management methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Experience using CAD software for system design.
  • Certification in UPS or Solar Energy systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel for project sites as needed.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software and tools.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
