Production Engineer- High Speed Press Shop

1 .Role & responsibilitiesSupervise and manage day-to-day production activities on the shop floor.Work in coordination with the entire Production team- Production Head, Production planner and PC, data entry operators, operators and helpers.Implement and sustain 5S practices to maintain workplace organization and cleanliness.Drive Kaizen initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and enhance quality.Monitor production performance and ensure achievement of daily and monthly targets.Coordinate manpower, machines, and material usage efficiently.Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and process standards.Train and guide operators/workers in lean manufacturing practices.Conduct root cause analysis for breakdowns, rejections, or process issues, and implement corrective actions.Review production records, downtime analysis, and prepare improvement reports.Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Stores for smooth production flow.2. Preferred candidate profile & Required SkillsKnowledge of High speed power presses and precision tools.Strong knowledge of 5S and Kaizen implementation on the shop floor.Hands-on leadership with ability to guide and motivate teams.Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools (PDCA, Poka-Yoke, Kanban preferred).Problem-solving and decision-making ability.Good communication, planning, and reporting skills.Proficiency in MS Office / ERP systems (preferred).** Posts open : 2 -> 1 for Junior production engineer and 1 for senior production engineer**
