Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Handling request from vessel or TSI for Adding / amending /removal of PMS routines: Amendment request from vessel is sent to TSIs approval and as technical committee member same will be forwarded to PMS DB (by referring technical manuals, makers manual, makers circular). Activation of calendar-based work order while new job is added. For counter-based work order liaising with vessel and activating the same. on completion making sure amendments are reflecting in shore end as requested and intimating the same to vessel /TSI.

2.On signers briefing: For newly joining officers briefing on Shippalm v3 for all

5 modules provide on daily basis via MS teams and physically for conduction

training in office as required.

  1. Shippalm v2 to v3 migration: Carrying out QC for migrating vessel (jobs, spares, critical component) prior V3 server dispatch.

  2. Provide Assistance During Audit:

  3. Assist TSIs and Technical Managers in preparing for various audits as per the TMSA checklist.

  4. Ensure all modules comply with the checklist.
  5. Provide reports on overdue jobs, critical spares, open defects/VIR, and expired certificates.
  6. Verify major jobs, ensuring attachments, consumption records, and technical forms are present in Shippalm.
  7. Acquire and add any missing documents from TSIs or vessels to Shippalm PMS support (vessel / Shore staff): Attending to the issues/Bugs regarding PMS items (spares /jobs) are escalated if required and resolving the issue liaising with (zero north) back-end team as earliest as possible.

Carrying out v3 migrating process (TMDS creation, Initial counters reporting, work order activation, making sure certificates / defects are migrated).

Required Experience:

  • Must have sailing experience TME/ 4th engineer/ 3rd engineer.
  • Having valid CDC would be the advantage if he will go for the vessel visit for V3 training.
