Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Hairdresser to join our team. In this role, you will provide a full range of hair services to clients, including cutting, coloring, styling, and treatments. The ideal candidate has a passion for hair, a strong sense of style, and excellent customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Consult with clients to understand their hair goals and recommend suitable styles or treatments.

Cut, trim, and style hair using a variety of tools and techniques.

Apply hair coloring, highlights, balayage, and other chemical treatments safely and professionally.

Wash and condition hair, including scalp treatments as needed.

Stay current on hair trends, techniques, and products.

Maintain a clean and organized workstation and sanitize tools regularly.

Upsell products and services when appropriate (e.g., hair care products, treatments).

Manage appointment schedules and maintain punctuality.

Ensure excellent customer service to build and retain clientele.

Qualifications:

Certified/licensed hairdresser or cosmetologist (as required by local/state laws).

Proven experience as a hairdresser, stylist, or colorist.

Strong knowledge of hair types, styles, and treatment techniques.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Professional, well-groomed appearance.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Manual dexterity and arm-hand steadiness.

Able to lift light objects (e.g., hairdryers, products, tools).
