Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Figma Designer to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our digital products. You will use your mastery of Figma to design wireframes, build interactive prototypes, and develop scalable design systems. Collaborating closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders, you will ensure our products are user-friendly, on-brand, and meet the highest design standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Prototyping:
     Design and iterate on user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for web and mobile applications using Figma.
  • Wireframing & User Flows:
     Develop detailed wireframes, user flows, and sitemaps that clearly illustrate design concepts and user journeys.
  • Design Systems:
     Create, maintain, and evolve a comprehensive and scalable design system and component library within Figma to ensure consistency across all platforms.
  • Collaboration:
     Work closely with product managers and front-end developers to define and implement innovative solutions, ensuring seamless design handoff and accurate implementation.
  • User Research & Testing:
     Participate in user research, conduct usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions and identify areas for improvement.
  • Visual Design:
     Apply a strong understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, and layout, to create high-fidelity mockups and graphic assets.
  • Trend Awareness:
     Stay up-to-date with industry trends, design tools, and best practices in UI/UX design to drive innovation and bring fresh perspectives to projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:
     Proven experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing Figma projects.
  • Figma Mastery:
     Expert-level proficiency in Figma and its advanced features (auto-layout, variants, components, prototyping, etc.).
  • Design Fundamentals:
     Strong understanding of user-centered design (UCD) principles, information architecture, and interaction design.
  • Communication:
     Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design decisions to stakeholders with clear rationale.
  • Problem-Solving:
     Creative problem-solving mindset and an unyielding attention to detail.
  • Collaboration:
     Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional team environment (e.g., Agile/Scrum).

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
  • Experience in design systems, wireframing, prototyping, and mockups
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills to work with development and product teams
  • Attention to detail and a good sense of aesthetics and usability
  • Understanding of responsive design and familiarity with interaction design principles
  • Relevant work experience and a portfolio showcasing previous design projects
  • Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS) is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UI/UX Design, or a related field is preferred
