Reporting to : AVP Purchase
KRAS :
- Review the purchase requisitions time to time and prioritise the items based on operations requirements.
- Coordinate with user department to adhere SAP requirements as per company norms.
- Float enquiries to reputed /approved vendors.
- Evaluate quotations technically and commercially to suit requirement.
- Take concurrence from the concerned before placing orders.
- Obtaining the budget details where ever applicable.
- Developing long term contracts / price agreements with vendors to minimise the lead time.
- Negotiate for best prices ensuring quality norms set.
- Finalise the orders in consultation with HOD and award the orders to vendors.
- Monitoring supplier performance for optimal business operations performance.
- Ensuring the timeliness and effectiveness of goods and services.
- Forecasting to predict future demand for goods, services, and purchase requisitions.
- Collaborating with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met on time.
- Liaison with stores and accounts for SAP related issues to speed up the process.
- Follow up for vendors payments and regular accounts reconciliation.
- Ensuring Audit compliance as per company guidelines.
- Coordinate with fellow managers to monitor inventory and determine supply needs.
- Random vendor visits to understand their capabilities.
- Adopt best practices in the industry for smoother operations.
- New Vendor registrations in SAP duly approved by HOD.
