Job Title: Test Automation Engineer C# and Playwright (2+ Years)

Location: Onsite, Bangalore

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Test Engineer with strong experience in manual and automation testing, particularly in C# with Playwright, to support end-to-end testing for complex medical/embedded applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in test design, execution, automation, agile ways of working, and quality advocacy across the full development lifecycle. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Verification Leads, SMEs, and global engineering teams, to ensure high-quality software delivery with built-in quality principles. Experience in healthcare domain and familiarity with regulatory expectations is a strong advantage.

Primary Skills

  • Strong understanding of testable requirements and ability to develop manual and automated test cases for product realization.

  • Hands-on experience in Automation using C# and Playwright, GitHub.

  • Experience in test design (Functional, Performance, Reliability) using Mind Map approaches.

  • Ability to ensure optimal usage of lab facilities for executing test scenarios.

  • Working knowledge of Agile testing practices.

  • Experience performing testing within Agile/Scrum/System teams ensuring built-in quality throughout the cycle.

  • Conduct functional, performance, load, and reliability testing.

  • Experience with CQ, ADS/TFS, and Windchill.

  • Ability to document test plans, protocols, and test reports.

  • Strong triaging skillscoordinate defects and issues across multiple teams.

  • Experience in requirements traceability maintenance.

  • Knowledge of global healthcare regulations and their interpretation is desirable.

  • Experience in healthcare/medical device software (preferred).

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to backlog refinement and identify testing scope early.

  • Highlight risks, gaps, and dependencies in team forums proactively.

  • Develop and execute manual and automated test cases aligned with user stories.

  • Ensure no missed executions and collect complete, accurate execution evidence.

  • Create manual/automated test cases and participate in peer reviews.

  • Ensure acceptance criteria are met and promote best testing practices within the team.

  • Log, track, triage, and verify defect fixes throughout the sprint.

  • Prepare well-structured test execution reports with supporting evidence.

  • Work closely with verification leads and engineering teams to ensure high-quality, on-time releases.
