Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers, and functions.
  • Design and implement efficient SQL code for reporting and data integration needs.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve SQL performance issues.
  • Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security in all database activities.
  • Collaborate with analysts, application developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver SQL-based solutions.
  • Perform regular database tuning and optimization tasks.
  • Support ETL operations using SQL-based solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working exclusively with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Proficient in writing complex T-SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Strong experience with performance tuning and query optimization.
  • Solid understanding of relational database design and normalization.
  • Experience with data migration and transformation using SQL.
  • Familiarity with SSMS and other SQL development tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with SSIS or basic ETL development (optional but a plus).
  • Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Exposure to Agile development methodologies.
