Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership:
- Provide strategic direction for the Faculty of Fashion Design.
- Supervise curriculum design, syllabus development, and academic delivery in alignment with industry trends.
- Encourage interdisciplinary learning and global exposure for students.
Faculty Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty members and staff.
- Promote faculty development through workshops, training, and research opportunities.
- Lead academic planning, timetabling, and teaching assignments.
Research & Industry Collaboration:
- Promote high-quality research, publications, exhibitions, and design innovation.
- Foster collaborations with national and international fashion brands, designers, and academic institutions.
- Organize fashion shows, seminars, workshops, and conferences.
Student Development:
- Oversee student admission processes and academic advising.
- Ensure excellence in student outcomes, placements, and entrepreneurial development.
- Promote internships, study tours, and live projects.
Administrative Duties:
- Manage faculty budgets, accreditations (e.g., NAAC/NBA), and compliance with regulatory bodies (UGC/AICTE/University norms).
- Represent the faculty in university-level meetings, committees, and strategic planning.
