Key Responsibilities:Academic Leadership:

• Provide strategic direction for the Faculty of Fashion Design.
• Supervise curriculum design, syllabus development, and academic delivery in alignment with industry trends.
• Encourage interdisciplinary learning and global exposure for students.

Faculty Management:

• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty members and staff.
• Promote faculty development through workshops, training, and research opportunities.
• Lead academic planning, timetabling, and teaching assignments.

Research & Industry Collaboration:

• Promote high-quality research, publications, exhibitions, and design innovation.
• Foster collaborations with national and international fashion brands, designers, and academic institutions.
• Organize fashion shows, seminars, workshops, and conferences.

Student Development:

• Oversee student admission processes and academic advising.
• Ensure excellence in student outcomes, placements, and entrepreneurial development.
• Promote internships, study tours, and live projects.

Administrative Duties:

• Manage faculty budgets, accreditations (e.g., NAAC/NBA), and compliance with regulatory bodies (UGC/AICTE/University norms).
• Represent the faculty in university-level meetings, committees, and strategic planning.

• Industry exposure or consultancy experience preferred.
