Role Overview:

As a Robot Operator, you will be responsible for operating, monitoring, and maintaining robotic equipment used in production lines, warehouses, or service settings. You will support programming, troubleshoot minor issues, and ensure the robots are working efficiently and safely according to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Robot Operation & Monitoring

  • Operate and monitor industrial or service robots according to production or service schedules
  • Start-up and shut down robotic systems as per standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Ensure robots follow programmed instructions and adjust parameters within defined limits

Maintenance & Troubleshooting

  • Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance of robots and associated equipment
  • Identify and report malfunctions or deviations to supervisors or maintenance teams
  • Assist technicians or engineers during diagnostics and repairs when required

Data Logging & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate logs of robot activity, performance metrics, downtimes, and maintenance checks
  • Support documentation of faults, root cause analyses, and recommended actions
  • Follow reporting protocols for safety, performance, and quality control

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Certification in robotics operation or automation systems
  • Experience with robot programming or HMI interfaces
  • Familiarity with safety protocols for robotic workstations
  • Knowledge of PLCs, sensors, and industrial control systems
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing automation
