Role & responsibilities

Head the Finance Function , oversee day today finance operations including treasury invoicing, internal controls, taxation, insurance. Act as a strategic business partner to the executive , corporate and local leadership teams on all finance related matters. Actively contribute to the implementation of the company's strategy and support business development initiatives. Lead the finance team, focusing on leadership development, talent management and succession planning. Establish and maintain a robust financing strategy to meet current and future investment and development needs including those related to Organization's green and sustainable initiatives. Ensure compliance with all local and group financial reporting requirements, acting as a liason to regional and global finance teams. manage local revenue costs, as well as cash flow, budgeting, forecasting processes, proactively identifying financial risks and opportunities. Ensure and maintain internal control systems and uphold corporate governance frameworks. Oversee all tax related matters including declarations for incometax, VAT, withholding tax, PAYE, and coordinate with external partners. Be the primary contact for all Insurance matters. develop and maintain professional relationship with banking partners, suppliers, audit firms and government authorities. drive process improvements, automation and operation efficiency within the finance function. Lead audits, manage back office administrative functions, oversee Payroll function too. Cross functional interactions with the global team is part of this role.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, finance, and compliance in an aviation or global travel industry or a BPO organization would be the right fit.
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience with a track record of team development
  • Ability to collaborate across functions, particularly with Sales/RevOps and GTM teams
  • Experience with ERP/accounting software and strong Excel/analytical skills
  • Good exposure on GST regime indirect taxes VAT, Service-tax, Customs and Excise etc., Budgeting, Forecasting , good team management hands on exposure.
