Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Bakery Master Chef with proven expertise in pastry making, artisan desserts, and confectionery. The ideal candidate will oversee the entire bakery production process — from recipe development to final presentation — ensuring top quality, taste, and consistency in every product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and execute a wide variety of bakery and pastry items including cakes, tarts, mousses, éclairs, croissants, cookies, and breads.
  • Develop new recipes and seasonal product lines to enhance the bakery's offerings.
  • Supervise and train junior bakers, pastry chefs, and assistants.
  • Ensure consistent taste, texture, and presentation across all baked goods.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in compliance with FSSAI or relevant regulations.
  • Manage ingredient inventory, monitor stock levels, and coordinate with procurement for supplies.
  • Oversee baking schedules and production timelines to meet daily and bulk orders efficiently.
  • Collaborate with management for product pricing, menu updates, and promotional items.
  • Stay updated with current pastry trends, techniques, and international dessert concepts.

Requirements:

  • Professional certification or diploma in Bakery & Patisserie / Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a reputed bakery, pastry kitchen, or hotel.
  • In-depth knowledge of classical and modern pastry techniques.
  • Strong creative flair with attention to detail and aesthetics.
  • Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple orders simultaneously.
